Building partnerships with our community to promote careers in the rail industry and help young people to gain confidence and employability skills
Developing diversity
We'll work to ensure our workforce better reflects the communities we serve and that we attract and employ a more diverse workforce
Equip colleagues with skills to offer excellent customer service to our diverse customer population
Create an annual diversity plan to keep our plans focused and review how we're doing
Driving employee engagement
Develop a range of engagement initiatives to achieve improvements employee engagement
This includes the creation of our annual staff survey where colleagues can feedback on what it's like to work at TransPennine Express
Investing in wellbeing and development
Maintain our Investors in People Gold accreditation, with lots of initiatives aimed at nurturing a healthy, motivated team
Develop our wellbeing programme with a range of new initiatives supported by our wellbeing champions
Promote colleague volunteering with organisations
Introduce a refreshed People and Leadership Strategy which puts the development of our people at its core
