Food and Drink

• For services with our TransPennine Kitchen – Coast to Coast, Express Plus and Express Café offerings: Catering is available between 07:00-18:30 Monday to Friday and 09:00-18:30 Saturday and Sunday.
• For services with our TransPennine Kitchen West Coast & Express Café offerings: Catering is available on all services Monday to Sunday.
• We will always strive to provide the advertised catering service, but occasionally operational circumstances may prevent catering from being available on your journey.

We will always try our best to make sure that our advertised catering service is available during your journey. However, there will be occasions where we are unable to provide catering due to operational circumstances.

Catering is provided, subject to availability, as below:

Liverpool Lime Street - Sheffield

Anglo Scottish route
Manchester Piccadilly/Liverpool – Glasgow/Edinburgh (Note coverage is 0422 to 2330)

North route
Newcastle - Edinburgh
Manchester Piccadilly – York (Saltburn services) 
Manchester Piccadilly – Leeds (Hull services)
Manchester Piccadilly – York (Scarborough services)
Liverpool – Newcastle
Manchester Victoria – York (Scarborough services)

Note our six car C185 services only have catering available in the first three carriages. Please check before boarding.  

Hot food is available on Nova 1 and Nova 2 services between Manchester Airport/Liverpool and Edinburgh/Glasgow, as well as Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle.
