About Barnetby
Barnetby, also known as Barnetby le Wold, is a village in North Lincolnshire. It is four miles from Brigg and 10 miles from Scunthorpe.
The village has an interesting history, dating back to the Saxons. You can go back in time with a visit to St Mary’s church or head to Thornton Abbey close by. Or you can brush up on your history with a trip to Gallows Wood. The gallows were once famously erected here outside of town, but today it’s just a lovely woodland walk.
